Strong in Jefferson
Senator Charles Schumer came to the Crystal Restaurant in Watertown today to thank volunteers for the huge numbers that Jefferson County pulled for him in last November 2nd General election. Flanked by Assemblywoman Addie Russell, Sheriff John Burns, County Treasure Nancy Brown and Watertown Mayor Jeff Graham Senator Schumer showed why the people of the North Country said loudly…Chuck’s our guy!
It was a packed house and all there were impressed with chuck and his ability to answer the tough questions of the day. He wasn’t shy in his words and he vowed to work day and night to make
sure the North Country is heard in Washington.It was clear by the end of the meet and greet that Senator Schumer understands what makes the North Country tick. From making sure our military and military families are taken care of to shoring up education and job growth the Senator answered all the all questions and made sure that everyone had a chance to talk with him one on one.
A great time was had and we were so proud to be able to highlight the needs of the North Country in such a historic setting as the Crystal Restaurant.
